Portfolio: translated books
Translating books requires paying close attention to the “voice” of the text, the reading pace, the target audience, and the writing choices that give each work its identity and make the reading experience feel natural.
As a translator, I’ve worked with books for different audiences and across many genres, including fiction, nonfiction, fantasy, biographies, romance novels, chick lit, comics, children’s and young adult literature, and even a few classics.
Here you’ll find the books I’ve translated from English into Brazilian Portuguese throughout my career, spanning a wide range of authors, styles, and linguistic challenges. The list starts with my most recently published translations and works its way back to the earliest ones.
